MECSPE 2012: attention focused on the automotive

From the 29th to the 31st March 2012 at Fiere di Parma (Parma Fairground) takes place again the appointment with MECSPE, the International trade show about innovation technologies, organized by Senaf, that was born with the aim at the promotion of research, innovation and competences interchange among the operators of the manufacturing sector.

The exhibition area includes eight theme trade shows in order to show the best of the productions in terms of mechanics, control and automation, logistics, moulds and moulding, machining of plastic materials, sub-supply and applications in the automotive sector and will be divided into “theme districts”, that is product areas with defined and indicated contents, through visual design instruments, that were studied in order to offer visitors the best orientation. The districts will be joined by the Working Isles, areas where the companies will show how their machines work, developing a particular working theme, and five Demonstrative Units from Project to Object, that will present the creation of an original item, ad hoc realized, starting from its planning up to its realization.

These areas were studied in order to show the planning and realization phases of an original object or a detail through the work of many companies that represent the best of the technology in the different phases of the production process. During the 2012 edition, visitors will find the Demonstrative Unit addressed to the illuminating engineering sector, where thanks to the support of a team composed by companies, leader in this division, it will be possible to face the challange of the realization of a LED lens made of LSR, an innovative and extremely transparent and liquid silicone rubber, showing visitors the procedures and the technologies that from the moulding lead to the end product.
In the Motorsport Demonstrative Unit, it will be possible to admire the live machining of two details for a motor addressed to Moto3, realized by Robby Moto Engineering in collaboration with IODA Racing, that starting from the next season will equip the racing motorbikes, that will replace the 125 of the MotoGP. Moreover it will be showed visitors a new engine realized by Robby Moto and addressed to 16 thousands revolutions racing karts.
In the Demonstrative Unit “from the diagnosis to the end prosthesis” will beshowed to technicians of the dental sector all the phases and technologies now on the market, that allow to go from the scanning to the CAD modelling and to get to the realization of the prosthesis through 6 chains: from the intraoral scanner and the virtual modelling software, to the structured light scanner (CAD modelling software for crowns and bridges with milling and/or additive manufacturing) and to the laser scanner with CAD modelling software for implants and bars with milling and/or additive manufacturing), passing through the skeletal modelling software and the wax machine, the orthodontic modelling software and the masks up to the software for guides. The Demonstrative Unit addressed to Logistics will present in its centre two areas: on the one hand, visitors can admire the prototype of a fashion store, realized by Rfid Lab from the University of Parma, that shows the advantages of a sales point completely managed by the Rfid technology; on the other hand, they will find the Kart Factory® of Jmac, a demonstrative area of a training path based on Lean Production and on the experience, mistake and group principle.
The Demonstrative Units from Project to Object always meet a bigger and bigger success coming from exhibitors and visitors – explains Emilio Bianchi, Senaf directorThe first ones find in these unique exhibition areas the chance to give a practical and effective proof of their competences in terms of production techniques and processes to possible customers or partners. On the other hand, visitors have the chance to see functioning machines and to touch the result of machinings with high technological content
