At MECSPE ideas become projects and business

Ended with success the eleventh edition of MECSPE, the International trade show about innovation technologies, organized by Senaf, that promotes the competences exchange among the operators through an exhibition with a high technology and innovation level. Compared to the edition in 2011, the trade show registered a visitors increase of 5%, who – in the pavilions of Fiere di Parma (Parma Fairground) – had the chance to visit the booths of more than 1,000 exhibitors, 20 working isles and 15 excellence squares and to participate in many training moments organized by companies, universities and research institutes. MECSPE will be back for its twelfth edition from the 21st to the 23rd March 2013.

The quality of the technology that was showed, the professionalism and the experience of the exhibitors, the sense of purpose of the developed debates and the presence of International buyers are the elements at the bottom of the huge participation of visitors and of the exhibition success, reconfirming in this way MECSPE as a unique appointment with extreme importance on the exhibition scene addressed to the manufacturing sector.

During the three days in Parma, visitors had the chance to find the best technological solutions for the different industrial chains, thanks to the presence of eight theme trade shows divided into “theme districts”, that showed the best of the production in terms of precision mechanics, automation, metrology, logistics, moulds and moulding, machining of plastic materials and sub-supply, followed by the working isles with running machines that develop particular machining themes in the sphere of plastic materials and mechanics. Visitors could admire the live realization of particular elements for biomedical and dental sector, of component parts linked to turning and milling operations in different divisions, such as precision mechanics, moulds construction, electronics, aerospace and automotive, energy, oil-hydraulics and food.

Obviously there was also the appointment with the Demonstrative Units from Project to Object, which put on the scene the creation of an original item, ad hoc realized, starting from its planning up to its realization. Protagonists: the lighting sector with the challenge of the realization of a LED lens made of LSR, an innovative silicone rubber; the automotive with Emir GP3, the motor born thanks to the collaboration between Ioda Racing and Robby Moto and specifically built for the Moto3, the new MotoGP category; the medical sector with the chain that leads to the realization of a dental prosthesis.

The highest expression of the research was in the middle of the Excellence Squares, spaces created in order to enhance the expertise of universities, associations, technological districts and companies, that are the feather in the cap of the made in Italy, where the visitors could admire prototypes not yet available on the market. Some of the most attractive squares were the ones addressed to Biorobotics, Ecoplastic, Mechatronics and Mechanical Innovation, Auto Planning and Motorsport, and Lean Production.

In addition to the offer of MECSPE, comes back at the same time the appointment with Impianti Solari Expo, addressed to the presentation of the technological and financial solutions for industry, that joins the exhibition with debate moments, such as the round table “Fotovoltaico su capannone” (Photovoltaics on sheds), that presented the technical and normative aspects that make profitable the installation of a photovoltaic system on the covering of a shed.

“Also during this edition MECSPE confirms to be an extremely important incubator for the manufacturing industry on a National level - states Emilio Bianchi, director of Senaf - Technology, innovation, partnerships and foreign countries were the elements that characterized this edition and allowed visitors not only to find out the best production solutions, but also to promote the meeting chances with Italian and foreign businessmen. The countries beyond the borders, as a matter of fact, represent for Italian companies some essential business chances above all in this economic moment for the sector, when the match is played on a global level and not anymore on a local one".
