MECSPE presents various initiatives devoted to Planning, with an emphasis on the special relationship between Design and Production:

	A light design in the world of metals Inside the area, developed with the scientific support of ASSOMOTORACING, some interesting items made of magnesium alloys and processed by means of some new welding and superficial finishing systems will be exhibited to show the potential of these extra-light alloys
	Engineering and projects square Lightening is getting more and more important and is meeting either structural or economic needs, especially in the automotive field, and aesthetic needs in the furniture field, too
	Auto Planning was born in collaboration with Berman SpA and Autostyle and will bring into the middle of the scene the invisible car, some parts coming from the Car Style Centres and some suggestions of the Autostyle 2011 finalists
	Simulation Square A demonstrative area completely addressed to product development and digital prototyping through Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) instruments
	Leonardo da Vinci International Award A prize awarded every year by the Associazione Italiana Progettisti Industriali (Industrial Designers Italian Association) and created in order to improve the industrial designers
